Méribel has a Famille Plus label in recognition of the brilliant facilities it offers for families with children. There are plenty of great accommodation options where you can ski in and out directly onto the pistes or to the lifts. If you want the kids to learn to ski from an expert (and enjoy some relaxing adult time) then you have an excellent choice of ski school combined with day care. For instance, Les Saturnins, run by ESF, takes children aged 18 months to 3 years with ski lessons and fun and games in the snow for full or half days. There are also themed ski areas, such as the Inuit Village, with mini slaloms, banked turns and more! There is also sledging, cinema, bowling, swimming…plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained.
If you enjoy a snowpark then the Méribel Elements Park is a fun choice for beginners to intermediates with boxes and rollers, rails, multiple kickers and tables for you to try out your skills. You can learn new tricks or brush up on your existing skills with plenty of scope to progress with kickers of different sizes. There are even video cameras throughout the park so that you can relive the excitement by watching it back! If you are at a more advanced level, then the DC Area 43 snowpark is the perfect option for you. It is the largest in the Three Valleys and has advanced rails, a full-sized half pipe and huge kickers where you can really test yourself. DC is not for the faint of heart, but if you pulling off the tricks on this challenging terrain is an amazing sight!

There is a great range of off-slope activities to enjoy in Méribel with something for all the family. The resort is renowned for its great shopping with many high-end stores offering those items perfect for treating yourself. For more pampering head to one of the many excellent spas, the perfect way to relax after a long day on the pistes! For more excitement you can discover the valley on snowshoes, have a horse drawn sleigh ride or hop on a snowmobile for a unique tour of the mountains. Families will love the Olympic Centre with its swimming pool complete with slide, indoor climbing, bowling, skating and ice-hockey. For an unforgettable experience, plan in a few days at one of the resort refuges high in the mountains. Enjoy a traditional Savoyard meal, then head out and take in the spectacular views of the mountains and the stars!
Méribel enjoys a buzzing après-ski and some unique party experiences. The renowned Folie Douce at La Saulire is one of the best spots in the resort with spectacularly dressed dancers, great DJs and a lively party until 5am. There are also some popular pubs such as Jacks Bar, Le pub and O’Sullivans, each with their own welcoming atmosphere offering a memorable night out. If you are not looking to party, don’t worry there are plenty of other brilliant bars and restaurants with a more relaxed vibe. Méribel offers something for everyone and with its charming wooden Alpine character, you will instantly feel welcome!
